Rigid Insulation

Foam Board insulation selection is based on R-values.

These R-values are related to the thickness of the foam board.  PSI, on the other hand, is related to density.  Your required thickness and density depend on the job at hand and how much of a barrier you want.  Insulation keeps buildings warm or cool by slowing down heat transfer.  Unlike fiberglass, rigid insulation stops air movement.  Rigid foam board insulation can be found above or below grade at concrete foundation walls or above grade cavity walls.

No matter your project, there no doubt that rigid insulation is a must.  Let Washington Waterproofing, Inc. handle your foam board installation needs.  Check out our services page.
